Course Objectives: Hyper vigilance recovery, stress and trauma awareness, mid/post shift stretches for chronic tension relief and learning to control emotional reactivity
Course Synopsis: Trauma and stress exposure alter how we behave and think. We will break down the science behind cumulative stress, introduce trauma-informed policing and teach coping skills that de-accelerate the body after a critical incident or physiological trigger. To create more capacity for incoming stress on the human body, we teach officers how to identify stress symptoms, rehabilitate existing injuries and myofascial tension release techniques.
