This level is for officers and agencies ready to take their wellness and resiliency practices a step further and make it part of your culture. You’ll dive deeper into mobility with advanced neuroscience concepts, evidence-based stress reduction techniques, and long-term wellness strategies for improving both mental clarity and physical endurance.

These intermediate-level courses (4 hours) are ideal for department-wide workshops, law enforcement officer programs, specialized unit training, and following TAC-101 courses.

TAC-102 Courses

    Course Overview (4hrs):

    • Trauma & Stress Education - Evidence based visuals of how the mind & the body interact during stressful or traumatic situations and national stress statistics on police stress to smash mental health stigma’s.

    • Resiliency & Emotional Intelligence Development- Peer discussion with emotional intelligence building training aids, live stress inoculation with cold exposure to produce real time Fight or Flight symptoms that enable students to practice optimal Heart Rate Variability (HRV) in a controlled environment, and practice with 3 nervous system regulating techniques.

    • Chronic Tension Management - 60 minutes of customized mobility sequencing based on the needs of each individual class provides the opportunity for attendees to walk away from an officer wellness class feeling better and more relaxed.

  • This 4-hour immersive course is designed to give first responders the tools they need to identify, manage, and recover from burnout. Led by industry expert Erica Gaines, attendees will develop emotional intelligence, learn to assess their own burnout levels, and practice hands-on mobility techniques to reduce physical and mental stress. With a focus on real-world application, this course provides practical strategies that first responders can use daily to stay resilient and perform at their best. At the end, attendees will also engage in 90 minutes of mobility and myofascial release techniques aimed at reducing chronic tension, improving flexibility, and promoting physical recovery.

TAC-103 Courses

  • Led by officer wellness expert and certified trauma yoga practitioner Erica Gaines and TacMobility associate therapist Mel Koenen. In this advanced course, you will dive deep into the psychology of trauma, stress reactions, and relationship dynamics to become a more effective peer support officer.
